1130 A.(cont.) purpose for such things as that. We had a dinner of baked beans once a week. We generally had cold corned beef for breakfast. As a general thing I corned the beef. Q. You would have meat everyday for dinner of some kind? A. No sir, had fish twice a week Q. How was the fish generally cooked? A. The fresh fish was usually baked or fried. Q. I understand that this is for all the patients? A. Yes sir Q. Did you have any pork? A. Yes sir, we did not have that very often. Through the winter season we had pork once in awhile Q. I suppose that would be roasted? A. Yes sir, I have fried pork steak for the whole of the 400. We did not always have pork once a week in the winter. I could not say how often we did have it. Sometimes we would have it once a week and sometimes not. If we had a fresh pork dinner we had it in the place of the beef as a general thing. When we had fresh roast pork we had it instead of beef.
