An Act to incorporate the Penobscot Mill and Manufacturing Company and also to engrossed Resolve in favor of Enoch Cordwell and the House agreed to the several amendments proposed by the Senate & ordered said Bills and said Resolve to be engrossed as thus amended.

On motion by Mr Holmes of Alfred Ordered, That the Secretary of State cause to be printed forthwith 300 copies of the act passed at the present session of the Legislature entitled "an act concerning Corporations" and cause the same to be distributed among the members of the Legislature. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - Act to establish the Frankfort, Bangor and Belfast Rail Road Corporation, was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

Bill - An Act additional to an act directing the method of laying out & making provision for the repair and amendment of Highways was amended & then on motion referred to Messrs Holmes of Winthrop, Hobbs of Calais, Carpenter of Foxcroft, Bunker of Vinalhaven, Lennan of Searsmont, Boothby of Embden, Lindly of Union, Wait of Falmouth, Taylor of Porter & Small of Limington with instructions to report by Friday next.

Bill - An Act to establish the Penobscot River Rail Road Corporation was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

Resolve in favor of Alexander Boothby, was read a second time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence.
