Bill - An Act to establish the Belfast & Quebec Rail Road Corporation was taken up and all the amendment proposed by the Senate except that at G adopted and the Bill further amended by the House read a second & third time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence

On motion of Mr Hamlen of Hampden Ordered, That the Committee on Rail Roads and Canals be instructed to inquire into the expediency of so altering or amending the General Law regulating Bail Roads, as to require said Corporations to transport the United States Mail for a fair compensation when requested by the Post Master General. Sent up for concurrence

And then the House adjourned.
