Resolve in favor of Titcomb Belgrade Academy was read a 2d time, amended and then indefinitely postponed. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve in favor of Anson Academy, was read a 2d time, and then indefinitely postponed. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve in favor of Alfred Academy, was read a second time, amended and then indefinitely postponed. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve in aid of Falmouth Academy, was read a second time & referred to the next Legislature. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve in aid of Lewiston Academy, was read a second time & indefinitely postponed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - An Act for the benefit of College, Academies and other Seminaries of Learning was read a third time and amended and then indefinitely postponed and the question was taken by yeas & nays and decided as follows yeas 88 nays 56 [See appendix page 480]. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - an act in addition to an act relating to the settlement and support of the Poor, laid on the table by Mr Webb of Windham, was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a third reading.

Resolve, An additional for the payment of accounts against the State, was read once and tomorrow morning at 10 oclock assigned for a second reading.
