Did it ever come to your knowledge during all this period while you were in charge of the grocery department that there was any bad meats received? Do you remember any case while you were in charge of the grocery department ? A. No sir, after I had the care myself. I didn't have the care at first. Q. I would like to ask you if your duties as Matron give you the opportunity knowing about the quality of food that goes into there at the hospital? A. Yes sir Q. Are you charged with this? A. I have the care of it entirely Q. You have greater care now than when you were grocery clerk? A. Yes sir When I was grocery clerk my responsibility extended to the raw materials. Now any responsibility extends after it is cooked in the form of food
