1077 A ( cont.) business we had, and the matter slipped their attention. As soon as their attention was called to it they gave orders in case there was any necessity. Q. Attention had to be called by someone outside? A. Yes sir, it happened to be in that case some thing they overlooked, something I overlooked. I think I might have mentioned it to them. Q. Now was it about the flannel blanketing? A. I don't think we have made any changes in certain goods of blankets. Q. What are you charging? A. According to my recollection we are charging about the same for blankets destroyed as four years ago. Q. What is that charge? A. It is about what they cost minus some thing for ware. My impression is now we are charging about a dollar apiece for the blanket destroyed, and they cost us about $1.25 for that grade. That varies a little in the market value. We buy seconds. Q. How often are the patients taken out to ride there on an average. A. They are taken out as often as the superintendent directs, and sometime a good deal oftener
