Q. Have you anything else to say as to the system of heating. A. I think I have given about as clear an explanation of it as I should be able to, unless there is some point about which gentlemen wish to ask me.

Q. Yo have described the heating apparatus and now I wish you would give what information you have as to the actual warmth of the lodge halls and rooms both day and night.

A. I can say to you that ever since I have known it it has been a question whether the lodges were warm enough at different times, and there have been those who were urging more heat there. The superintendent has always seemed to be satisfied that there was heat enough, from the first; that there was enough there when I first knew the lodges; but in cases where
