It is not true then that this accident occurred one noon, and that the patient, Mrs. Butler, ran immediately and hid herself in her own room and remained there until the next morning, and no attendant knew of it or inquired about it A. No sir Q. You know of your own knowledge that is not true A. Yes sir. Q. Now was the appearance of Mrs. Butler so altered by this blackness under the eyes that she was not recognizable by friends A. Now was there any human way of attending the ordinary duties of laying the table, which has to be done, by which that accident could have been avoided, occurring as it did in this 10 minutes A.
