1088 March 1st 1881 2.5 o'clock The committee on the Insane Hospital met in the Representatives Hall, according to the adjournment all the members of the committee but Mr. Sargent being present. Testimony of D.B. Kimball By Mr. Baker Q. Have you kept a night record of the temperature in the various halls? A. I have for sometime back, make the record three times during the night at 9, 12, and 3 o'clock. Q. The regulation temperature is from 68 to 72? A. Yes sir. Q. You have here the record book which shows the temperatures each hall is kept by itself? A. Yes sir First page upper male, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd halls. Mr. Baker I find the lowest temperature registered is at 3 O'clock in the morning, and they run from 60 to 70 in the lower male in the month, the lowest one I see is 62 on the 19th, in Feb I find one instance 62. The temperature in the lodge at 3 O'clock in the morning runs from 80 down to 62. Q. Whether the temperature of the lodge hall is warmer
