a Senator to fill the vacancy in the Senate of the United States occasioned by the resignation of Ethen Shepley and the Governor be requested to furnish him with the necessary credentials of his election aforesaid in order to enable him to take his seat in the Congress of the United States, read and passed. Sent down for concurrence.
