On motion of Mr Maqoun, the Senate reconsider their vote of yesterday, passing to be engrossed. Bill giving power to the County Commissioners for the County of Cumberland to lay out a road over the tide waters from Brunswick to the Great Island in Harpswell and the same was referred to Messrs. Magoun, Woodman and Robinson of Lincoln.

Bill altering the time of holding the Court of Common Pleas in the County of Kennebec (reported in the House by the Committee on the Judiciary on petition of Samuel Wells and others) Resolve requiring the casher's of Banks to make returns of the names of stockholders (introduced in the Houses -"- in favor of the Penobscot Tribe of Indians laid on the table by Mr Burr) -"- granting to each of the towns of Northport and Islesborough, in the County of Waldo, the third volume of the laws of Maine (reported by Mr Carr from the Joint Select Committee to which was referred the petition of David Alden Jun) severally read once and tomorrow eleven o'clock assigned for a second reading.
