Bill for the removal of the seat of government from Augusta to Portland (introduced in the House) was read once, and the same on motion of Mr Benson was laid upon the table till tomorrow at eleven o'clock - and ordered on motion of Mr Severance, that 300 copies of said Bill, with the amendment adopted by the House be printed for the use of the Legislature.
