The Senate recede from their vote refusing said Bill a passage, and concur with the House in passing the same to be engrossed.
A message was received that the House had reconsidered their votes passing to be engrossed, Bill to incorporate the Frontier Bank, -"- to incorporate the City Bank, -"- to incorporate the Machias Bank, and had severally amended said Bills and had ordered the same reengrossed as amended requesting the concurrence of the Senate. The Senate recede from their votes passing said Bills to be engrossed, adopt the amendments proposed by the House and order the same reengrossed as amended in concurrence. And also informing the Senate that the House, insisting on their vote passing to be engrossed "Bill to authorize the collection of interest on Executions", propose a conference and appoint as conferees on their part Messrs. Hobbs of Eastport, Holmes of Alfred and Smith Westbrook. The Senate insist on their vote refusing the same a passage, concur in the proposition for a conference and appoint as conferees Messrs. Talbot, Weeks and Miller.
The Senate, on motion of Mr. Jarvis, reconsider their vote of the forenoon referring [?] to the Committee on the Judiciary the "Bill to establish the Bangor Female Orphan Asylum," and adopt a new draft submitted by Mr Jarvis, and pass the same to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
