Kennebec Canal Company, severally read the second time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Bill additional to establish a Registry of Deeds for the Eastern District of Lincoln County (introduced in the House) was read twice and passed to be engrossed, in concurrence.

Bill to incorporate the South West Bend Mill Dam Company (reported in the House by the Committee on Interior Waters, on petition of Allen H. Cobb and others) -"- to incorporate the Hallowell Granite Rail Road Company (reported in the House by the Committee on Rail Roads and Canals, on petition of John Gardiner and others) severally read once and half past two o'clock in the afternoon assigned for a second reading.

Bill to establishing the Bangor Female Orphan Asylum (introduced in the House) read once and tomorrow, nine o'clock assigned for a second reading.

Resolve for the relief of Solomon Littlefield was read the second time; and the question of passing the same to be engrossed as amended in concurrence with the House, being ordered to be taken by yeas and; nays was decided in the affirmative, as follows, to wit; Yeas. Messrs. Allen, Clark, Fish, Greene, Jarvis, Johnson, Jewett, Latham, Mantor, McIntire, Merrow, Miller, Pierce, Parrington, Robinson, Severance, Spear, Staples, Swift, Talbots and Weeks 21. Nay.
