Benson, Fish, Jarvis, Jewett, Johnson, Kelsey, Mantor, Robinson, Severance, and Talbot 10 Nays. Messrs. Allen, Clark, Greene, Latham, Merrow, Miller, Pierce, Purrington, Staples, Swift and Weeks ________ 11 And said Bill, on motion of Mr. Benson was laid upon the table.

On motion of Mr. Johnson, The Senate reconsider their vote of the forenoon, refusing a passage to "Bill to incorporate the Hancock Bank," and the question of passing the same to be engrossed was decided in the negative (passage refused) as follows, to wit: Yeas. Messrs. Benson, Clark, Fish, Jarvis, Johnson, Kelsey, Mantor, Merrow, Robinson, Severance and Talbot _________ 11 Nays. Messrs. Allen, Frye, Greene, Jewett, Latham, Miller, Pierce, Purrington, Staples, Strickland, Swift and Weeks _________ 12. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Messrs. Benson, Fish, Frye, Jarvis, Jewett, Johnson, Kelsey, Mantor, McIntire, Merrow, Pierce, Robinson, Severance, Talbot and Weeks 15 Nays Messrs. Allen, Clark, Greene, Latham, Miller & Purrington 6. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
