391 Bill to incorporate the Augusta Savings Institution Resolve respecting the Shiretown of Hancock County, came up from the House severally amended. The Senate recede from the votes whereby they passed the same to be engrossed, adopt the amendments proposed by the House and pass the same to be engrossed as amended in concurrence.
Bill additional to prevent gaming for money and other property amended additional to an Act to regulate the taking of Alewives in the town of Woolwich, move effectually to suppress Houses of ill fame Resolve, additional to a Resolve passed March 17, A D 1835 entitled, "Resolve in favor of certain officers and soldiers of the Revolutionary War, and the widows of the deceased officers and soldiers, severally read the second time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
Bill to prohibit Agencies for Banks out of the State, private Banking and to regulate Banks and Banking came up amended and committed to the Committee on the Judiciary with the amendments. The Senate reconsider their vote whereby they passed said Bill to be engrossed and commit the same in concurrence.
