352 from the Joint Select Committee to which was referred an order relative to repealing all laws relative to retailers &c. read over, and ordered, on motion of Mr. Talbot that 300 copies of said Bill be printed for the use of the Legislature, and the same, on motion of Mr. Fish, was laid upon the table.
Bill to establish the Penobscot River Rail Road corporation can up from the House further amended. The Senate receded from their vote passing the same to be engrossed, adopt the amendments proposed by the House and pass the same to be engrossed as amended, in concurrence.
Bill to incorporate the Damariscotta Steam Navigation Company, -"- additional to an Act to establish the Sagadahoc Ferry Company, severally read the second time and passed to be engrossed Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
Bill to incorporate the Livingston Academy (reported in the House by the Committee on Literature and Literary Institutions, on petition of Marshall S. Heagan and Others) -"- additional to an Act to regulate the taking of Alewives in the town of Woolwich (report by Mr. Weeks from the Committee on Interior Fisheries, on petition of Benjamin T. Tallman and others) -"- repealing an Act entitled an "Act requiring a sluiceway to be constructed on the Meduxnekeag Stream and for other purposes (report by the same gentleman from the same committee, on petition of Aaron Putnam and Others )
