Remonstrance of Alvan Bolster and others against the petition praying that the Ministerial fund in Rumford may be appropriated for primary schools - read and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary, in concurrence.

Petition of George Stevens and others, praying for a Bank at Bluehill, came up from the House referred to the Committee on Banks and Banking. The Senate nonconcur the House in their reference and refer the same to the next Legislature. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Petition of William Ramsdell and others in aid of the petition of Charles F Halley praying for an Act of incorporation by the name of the "Stillwater Aqueduct Company," came up from the House referred to the Committee on Interior Waters. The Senate nonconcur the House in their reference and refer the same to the next Legislature. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Petition of Ezekiel Foster and others, praying to be incorporated by the name of the Pembroke Milling Company, came up from the House referred to the Committee on Interior Waters. The Senate nonconcur the House in their reference and refer the same to the next Legislature. Sent down for concurrence.

On motion of Mr. Merrow, ordered that the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of altering the time of the sittings of the Courts in Lincoln County - read and passed. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
