A message was received from the Governor transmitting a copy of certain Resolutions adopted by the General Assembly of Virginia, on the subject of Slavery -- read and referred to the Committee to which was referred the South Carolina Resolutions. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Mr. Fish from the Committee on State Lands reported leave to withdraw on petition of John Dennie and others - John C. Hayden and others and /Susanna Bogs -- read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Mr. Benson from the Committee on the Judiciary, reported leave to withdraw on petition of Jonathan Brown and others -- read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
