Petition of A. Cazenove and others, praying to be incorporated by the name of the Eastport Salt Works -- read and referred to the Committee on Manufactures, in concurrence.
Petition of A.S. Patten and others, praying to be incorporated into a New County by the name of Piscataquis -- read and referred to the Committee on Division and Alteration of Counties. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
Petition of John R. Greenough and others of Bangor, praying to be incorporated as a Mutual Fire Insurance Company -- read and referred to the Committee on Banks and Banking in concurrence.
On motion of Mr. Johnson, Ordered, that the hour of meeting of the Senate shall be half past nine A.M. except Monday mornings when the hour shall be ten A.M. until otherwise ordered.
Order from the House of Representatives, instructing the Committee on the Judiciary to inquire into the expediency of increasing the Salary of the Attorney General -- read and passed in concurrence.
