Mr. Strickland, from the Committee on the Militia, reported leave to withdraw on petition of Benjamin Snow and others and Abner Mitchell and others and legislation inexpedient on an order relative to altering the militia law - and indefinite postponement on an order relative to Musicians, Field and Staff Officer's, receiving such compensation as is allowed Company officers and privates - read and accepted.
