Petition of Thaddeus Hubbard and others praying for relief in regard to the funds of an Academy - read and referred to the Committee on Literature and Literary Institutions in concurrence.

Petition of John Pyate Jun. and others, praying to be incorporated for the purpose of manufacturing granite - read and referred to the Committee on Manufactures in concurrence.

Petition of Lucy Philbrook praying for lands on account of the military services of her husband - read and referred to the Committee on State Lands in concurrence.

Petition of Andrew Masters and others in aid of the petition of Ira Crocker and others; -"- of James Blin and others in aid of the petition of Jesse Russell and others; -"- of the Kennebec Log Driving Company praying for extension of jurisdiction -"- of Allen Gilman, Mayor of the City of Bangor in behalf of said City, praying for leave to erect a Public Market House over the Kenduskeag Stream in said City, severally
