Bill to incorporate the Calais and Barring Railway and Canal Company (reported by the same Gentleman from the same Committee on petition of Neal D. Shaw and others was read once and ordered on motion of Mr Talbot, that 300 copies of said Bill be printed for the use of the Legislature.
Bill to establish a Seminary for the purpose of promoting useful learning and the better qualifying of primary School teacher's and
Resolve for the endowment of the Maine Teachers Seminary reported by Mr. Purinton from the Committee on Literature and Literary Institutions to which was referred so much of the Governor's Message as relates to Literature and Literary Institutions, severally read and ordered on motion of Mr. Merrow that 500 copies of the Report and said Bill and Resolve be printed for the use of the Legislature.
The Committee on Engrossed Bills reported as correctly engrossed, Bill additional respecting Salaries of Judges and Registers of Probate; -"- to incorporate the proprietors of the Warren Bridge and the same were severally passed to be enacted
