Petition of Solomon Dennisont and others, praying to be incorporated for the purpose of constructing a Canal from Freeport to Brunswick - read and referred to to the Committee on Rail Roads and Canals in concurrence.
Order from the House of Representatives instructing the Committee on the Judiciary to inquire what further provisions of law, if any, are necessary to regulate the process of foreign attachment - read and referred in concurrence.
Bill additional to incorporate the Bangor and Orono Rail Road Company on motion of Mr Fish was taken up. Mr. Jarvis moved to amend by offering a substitute for said Bill, entitled an Act additional to an Act to incorporate the Bangor and Oldtown Railway Company and the same were ordered to lie on the table.
