Bill to incorporate the North American Manufacturing Company (reported by the same Gentleman from the same Committee on petition of Isaac Allard and others;)- " -to incorporate the Stillwater Falls Company (reported by Mr. Miller from the Committee on Interior Waters on petition of Moses Freeman and others;)
- " -additional to an Act to organize, dicipline [discipline] and govern the Militia (reported in the House by the Committee on the Militia on petition of John Williams and others;) severally read once and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading.
Bill defining certain rights and duties of Rail Road Corporations was taken up. The Senate adopt the amendments proposed by the House marked D.E. and F - nonconcur with the House in the proposed amendments marked C. and G. and pass the same to be engrossed as amended on sheets annexed to the Bill, marked A, B, D, E and F. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
Bill to establish the Belfast and Quebec Rail Road Corporation was read the second time and the same was laid on the table, on motion of Mr. Merrow till Friday next at ten o'clock.
