Mr. Talbot was excused from voting on the question. The Bill was further amended, and the question of passing the same to be engrossed being ordered by yeas and nays was decided in the affirmative as follows to wit, Yeas. Messrs. Allen, Clark, Fish, Frye, Greene, Jarvis, Johnson, Kelsey, Latham, Mantor, Merrow, Miller Pierce, Purinton, Spear, Staples, Swift, Talbot and Weeks - 19. Nays. Messrs Benson, Jewett, McIntire, Robinson and Severance - 5 Sent down for concurrence

Bill to repeal the incorporation of the proprietors of the Fryeburg Canal (reported by Mr Clark from the Committee on Rail Roads and Canals on petition of the proprietors of the Fryeburg Canal;) -"- to incorporate the Penobscot Steam Navigation Company (reported by Mr Greene from the Committee on the Judiciary on petition of Willis Patten and others;) -"- to incorporate the Bethel Bridge Company (reported by Mr Talbot from the Committee on Roads and Bridges
