Bill to increase the Capital Stock of the Ticonic Bank (on petition of Asa Redington and others; -"- to increase the Capital Stock of the Union Bank (on petition of the President, Directors and Company of the Union Bank; -"- to increase the Capital Stock of the York Bank. (on petition of the President, Directors, and Company of the York Bank;) severally read once and the same on motion of Mr. Purinton were ordered to lie on the table.
The Committee on Engrossed Bills reported as correctly engrossed, Bill relative to the collection of State Taxes and assessments made by County Commissioners and the same was passed to be enacted.
The same Committee reported as correctly engrossed, Resolve allowing Treasurer compensation for Clerk hire and the same was finally passed
On motion of Mr Benson, Ordered, that when the Senate do adjourn, they adjourn till to-morrow morning at ten o'clock and that that shall be the hour of adjournment, (Mondays excepted) till otherwise ordered. Adjourned Attest, William Trafton, secretary.
