Bill defining certain rights and duties of Rail Road Corporations on motion of Mr. Benson was taken up and further amended; and the same was passed to be engrossed as amended. Sent down for concurrence.
Bill additional to protect towns from fire was on motion of Mr Jarvis taken up. The Senate adopt the amendments proposed - nonconcur the House in the indefinite postponement of said Bill and pass the same to be engrossed as amended. Sent down for concurrence.
Resolve allowing Treasurer compensation for Clerk hire was on motion of Mr Clark taken up. The Senate recede from their former vote passing the same to be engrossed - adopt the amendment proposed by the House and pass the same to be engrossed as amended in concurrence.
