Bank;) Bill to increase the Capital Stock of the Stillwater Canal Bank on petition of President, Directors and Company of Stillwater Canal Bank;) -"- to increase the Capital Stock of the Bank of Cumberland - severally read once, and the same on motion of Mr Purinton, were ordered to lie on the table.
The Committee on Engrossed Bills reported as correctly engrossed, Bill to set off Peter Gilman from East Pond Plantation and annex him to the town of Norridgewock, and the same was passed to be enacted.
The same Committee reported as correctly engrossed. Resolve providing for the appointment of a Public Agent to superintend certain expenditures and the same was finally passed.
