Petition of Jonathan Brown and others, praying for an Act to prohibit the sale of ardent spirits at or near town meetings -"- of Joseph Hall and others, praying for an alteration in the law regulating partition fences and the adjoining enclosure -severally read and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
Petition of Newell Witherly and others; -"- of George Burnham in aid of petition of S. A. Morse and others for an Act of incorporation for the Machias Water power and Mill Company -severally read and referred to the Committee on Rail Road and Canals in concurrence.
