Bill to incorporate the Winnegance Mill Company and Bill to incorporate the China Steam Mill Company came up from the House further amended and the same on motion of Mr. Benson were recommitted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
Bill to incorporate the Great Androscoggin Falls, Mill Dam, Lochs and Canal Company was read the second time and the same on motion of Mr Benson was committed to the Committee on Manufactures. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
Bill to set off Peter Gilman from East Pond Plantation and annex him to the town of Norridgewock reported by Mr Merrow from the Committee on Division of Towns on petition of Peter Gilman. Resolve authorizing the Adjutant General to exchange a lot of land in Paris for that on which the Gunhouse in said town stands introduced in the House: Resolve in favor of the town of Springfield reported in the House by the Committee on the Judiciary on petition of Benjamin Higgins, severally read once and tomorrow at ten oclock assigned for a second reading.
