157 Mr Clark from the Joint Select Committee on the Treasurer Report, to which was referred the Bond of Asa Redington June Treasurer of State, reported that said Bond in their opinion is good and sufficient - read and accepted.Sent down for concurrence Concurred, The Committee on Manufactures to which was referred an order of January 30 the relative to Manufacturing Companies. made a report asking to be discharged from the further consideration of the same and recommending its reference to the Committee on the Judiciary - read and accepted in concurrence
The Committee on Agriculture reported leave to withdraw on petition of Sanford Howard - read and accepted on concurrence.
The Committee on Division of Towns reported leave to withdraw on petition of Charles Leavens and others read and accepted in concurrence
The Report on petition of Solomon Littlefield came up - the House again insisting on their former vote - propose a Conference and appoint as conferees on their part Messrs Shaw of Sanford Holmes of Alfred and Gordon of Belfast The Senate concur with the House in their proposition for a Conference and appoint as Conferees on their part Messrs Jewett. Severance and Fish.
Resolve allowing Treasurer compensation for Clerk up the House amended and the same on motion of Mr Fish was ordered to lie on the table.
