151 and the question of adopting said amendment being ordered to be taken by yeas and yeas was decided in the negative as follows to wit, Yeas Messrs Benson, Jarvis, Johnson, Robinson and Severance 5. Nays Messrs Allen Clark, Fish, Frye, Greene, Jewett, Kelsey, Latham, Manter, McIntire Merrow, Miller, Purinton, Staples, Strickland, Swift, Talbot and Weeks 18And the Bill passed to be engrossed in concurrence.
Petition of Nathaniel Stevens and others, praying to be incorporated for the purpose of erecting a Dam across Little River Harbor in the town of Cutler for Manufacturing purposes - read and referred to the Committee on Interior Waters. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
