on petition of the first Congressional Parish in Kittery; Bill enlarging the powers of Constables in the town of East Machias (reported in the House by the Committee on the Judiciary, on an order relative to the same ;) Resolve in favor of the Proprietors of township No. 6. in the third Range west from the east line of the State (reported by Mr. Fish from the Committee on State Lands on petition of Ivory Jefferds and others;) -"- providing for the appointment of a public agent to superintend certain expenditures (laid on the table by Mr. Severance;) -"- authorizing the constructing of a Stone flagging on the State Lot north of the State House (reported by the same gentleman from the same Committee on an order relative to that subject and on an order relative to that subject and on an order relative to a double window in the Senate Chamber) severally read once and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading.
Bill to incorporate the Bluehill Fishing Company came up from the House amended. The Senate reconsider their vote passing said Bill to be engrossed, adopt the amendment proposed by the House and pass said Bill to be engrossed as amended, in concurrence.
Bill to alter and define the criminal Jurisdiction of the Judicial Court was read the second time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence.
