On motion of Mr McIntire, the "Resolve in favor of certain Officers and Soldiers of the Revolutionary War and the widows of the deceased officers and soldiers" was taken up; and the same was recommitted with instructions to inquire into the expediency of so amending the same that persons entitled to receive 200 acres of land, may, in lieu thereof, receive Fifty Dollars each. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Mr Jewett from the Committee on Banks and Bankings [Banking] to which was referred an order passed the 21st inst, relative to State Treasurer's investing the School and Indian funds in Bank Stock, made a report recommending the further consideration of the same, to the Joint Select Committee that have that subject under consideration. - read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

The Committee on Interior Waters reported order of notice on petition of Jesse Russell Jr. and others and on petition of Andrew Bourk and others, - read and accepted in concurrence.
