That so much of the Message as relates to the investment of the Primary School Fund, derivable from the sale of the twenty townships appropriated for that purpose, and also so much as relates to the investment of the fund belonging to the Penobscot Tribe of Indians, together with the sale of the lands belonging to the Passamaquoddy Tribe of Indians, and the investment of the fund arising therefrom, be referred to the Joint Select Committee on the Treasurer's Report and accompanying documents. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

That so much of the Message as relates to the suppression of the circulation and use of Bank Bills of a small denomination be referred to the Committee on Banks and Banking. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

That so much of the Message as relates to the raising of Silkworms for the manufacture of Silk, be referred to the Joint Select Committee, consisting on the part of the Senate of Messrs McIntire, Swift and Robinson with such as the House may join. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred and Messrs Tobin of Hartford, Merry of Edgecomb, Cogswell of Berwick, Cushing of Augusta, Meservey of Appleton, Leighton of Elliot and Hasty of Kilmarnock are joined.

That so much of the Message as relates to Insane Hospital, to the indigent Blind and to the Deaf and Dumb, be referred to a Joint Special Committee, consisting on the part of the Senate of Messrs Jewett, Johnson and Merrow with such as the House may join. Sent down for concurrence, Concurred and Messrs Dean, Buzzell, Bradford, Scammon, Baker, Means and Sargeant are joined.
