Resolve authorizing the acting Quarter Master General to convey a lot of land and to dispose of the Gun house in Wiscasset - making provision for the purchase of the reports of the decisions of the Supreme Judicial Courts and establishing the title of said Reports were severally read once, and tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a second reading -

Message was received from the Governor [see appendix page 19.] transmitting "Resolution respecting abolition Societies" adopted by the general Assembly of the State of Kentucky - and in Senate read & sent down - Read in the House & sent up.

Report of Conferees on the part of the House on the disagreeing votes of the two Houses on a Bill on titled an Act establishing the Salary of the Attorney General, that the House adhere to their vote reprising the Bill a passage - and the report was accepted.

Resolve in favor of Argyle Plantation was read a second time & passed to be engrossed, and the question was taken by yeas & nays and decided as follows yeas 84 nays 67. [see appendix page 126.] Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - An Act to incorporate the Perry Plaster Company - An Act to increase the Capital Stock of the Machias Water power & Mill Company were severally read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.
