Bill An Act to incorporate the Calais Steam Boat Company was read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence

Bill An Act to incorporate the Frankfort Mercantile Wharf Company was read a third time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Report on the State Prison, was read once & laid on the table & 330 copies of the same ordered to be printed for the use of the members.

Bill - An Act for the further regulation of the State Prison, was read a third time & referred to Messrs Holmes of Alfred, Watts of St George and Edily of Corinth

Bill - An Act establishing the Salary of the Attorney General came from the Senate passed to be engrossed as amended - the House insist upon their vote refusing a passage to the Bill - propose a conference and appoint as conferes Messrs Allen of Bangor, Sturdivant of Cumberland & Paine of Hallowell. Sent up for concurrence.

The Committee on engrossed Bills reported as truly engrossed - Bill - An Act to establish the Fairfield Boom Corporation - which on motion of Mr Wells of Hallowell was amended as on sheet marked A, the same being reconsidered for that purpose, & then on motion Ordered to be reengrossed. Sent up for concurrence.
