Bill - An Act to incorporate the Machias Bank was read 1st & 2d time & Monday next at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.
The House reconsidered their vote accepting this morning the Report on petition of Reuel Williams & others & also on petition of Amos Davis & others and ordered the report to lie on the table.
Bill - An Act to incorporate the Saltwater Falls Company, was read a 3d time & Monday next at 10 oclock assigned for the further consideration thereof a 300 copies ordered to be printed for the use of the members.
Bill - An Act to establish the Taconic Village Corporation, was read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed as amended. Sent up for concurrence.
Bill - An Act to prohibit agencies for Banks out of the State - Private Banking and to regulate Banks & Banking was taken up and the vote passing the same to be engrossed reconsidered, and then the Bill and an amendment proposed thereto by Mr Richardson of Portland referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. Sent up for concurrence.
Bill - An Act to incorporate the Hallowell Steam and Boom Company, was read a 3d time and amended & then ordered to lie on the table until Monday next.
Bill - An Act concerning assignments, was read 1st & 2d time and Thursday next at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading & 300 copies ordered to printed for the use of the members.
