Petition of B.C. Barley & others for a Boom between Lovejoy narrows & arnolds narrows was read & referred to the Committee on Interior Waters. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of Jonathan F Littlefield for a change of name - was read & referred to the Committee on Change of Names.

Mr Comstock of Lubec has leave of absence from and after Saturday next & Mr Small of Machias port after Tuesday next during the remainder of the session.

Remonstrances of George W Cummings & others - - John B Morgan & others - - Joel Hills & others - all against the petition of Samuel Dudley agent of the Sugar Island Side Boom Corporation, was severally referred to the Committee on Interior Waters in concurrence.

Bill - An Act to change the name of the Maine Granite Company, was read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence

Petition of R.H. Gardiner Junr - & others to be incorporated as the muskongus granite Company - was read & referred in concurrence with the Senate to the Committee on Manufactures.
