On motion by Mr Hobbs of Eastport, Ordered, by the two Houses of the Legislature, the Governor concurring, that the following Rule be established for the government of the intercourse between the two Houses and the Executive in relation to Bills & Resolves which have received the final action of the Legislature viz. The Bills which shall have been passed to be enacted - and the Resolves which shall have been finally passed, by the Legislature shall be transmitted to the Governor by the Secretary of the Senate by Message, and the Governor after having added his signature the thereto, shall, by verbal message, by the Secretary of State inform each House as soon as may be. of the fact, and of the time he shall have added his signature, thereto. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - An Act to incorporate the Maine Atlantic Granite Company - - An Act to incorporate the Atlantic Granite Company - - An Act to incorporate the York Granite Company - were severally passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence

Bill - An Act to incorporate the Madaccunk Mill Company - was read a third time and passed to be engrossed as amended on sheet A. Sent up for concurrence

Bill - An Act authorizing the Land Agent in certain cases to assign mortgage & release lands conditionally granted, came from the Senate referred to the Committee on the Judiciary for concurrence - and the House concurred.
