Met according to adjournment.

Report of the Committee on the subject of Capital punishments, came from the Senate that body ordering 1000 copies to be printed for the use of the Legislature & the House concurred.

Bill - An Act to change the name of the Sullivan Granite Company incorporated February 18th 1836 laid on the table by Mr Hobbs of Eastport was read 1st 2 & 3d time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence

Bill - An Act to repeal the incorporation of the Proprietors of the Fryeburg Canal, was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading

Bill - An Act to incorporate the Portland Exchange Company was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at ten oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

Bill - An Act to incorporate the Bethel Bridge Company, was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at ten oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

Bill - An Act to incorporate the Penobscot Steam Navigation Company, was read a 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading

Mr Little of Portland has leave of absence from and after the 23d instant.

Bill - An additional act to incorporate the Moosehead Lake Steam Navigation Company
