Reports on the petition of William Emery & others - - of John G Heath & others - - of James Densmore & others - - of Prince B Mooers & others - - of Levi Gates & others referencing the same to the Committee on the Judiciary in concurrence

Bill - An Act to incorporate the great Works Milling & Manufacturing Company, was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 2s reading.

Bill - An Act to incorporate the Trustees of the Freedom Academy, was read 1st & 2d time and tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a 3d reading

Bill - An Act to incorporate the Kennebec and Boston Steam Navigation Company, was read 1st & 2d time & ordered to lie upon the table.

Leave to withdraw was reported on the petition of Winslow Hall & others - and the report was accepted and sent up for concurrence.

Bill - An Act to fix the compensation of superintending School Committees - came from the Senate that body insisting on their vote passing the same to be engrossed & proposing a conference and appointing as conferees on their part Messrs Benson, Talbot & Greene. The House agreed to the conference & appointed as conferees on their part Messrs Hobbs of Eastport, Cogswell of Berwick & Wilson of Bingham.
