Petition of John Dickerson Judge of Probate for the County of Washington for an increase of Salary - was read and referred to the delegation in both Houses from the County of Washington. Sent up for concurrence

Petition of Jonathan Thayer & others to be incorporated as Woollen & salinet Manufacturing Company in Camden was read & referred to the Committee on Manufactures. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve authorizing an apportionment & distribution of the School fund, was read once and tomorrow at ten oclock assigned for a second reading.

On motion of Taft Comstock of Lubec Ordered That the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire whether any & what alterations are necessary in the law respecting the assessment and collection of Taxes on the real estate of resident proprietors. Sent up for concurrence.

On motion by Mr Small of Limington Ordered, That the Committee on Accounts be instructed to inquire into the expediency of allowing the accounts of Bridge Inspectors and Adjutants of Regiments whose returns have been made to the Adjutant generals Office prior ro the first day of January 1836. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of William Lord & others for a Rail Road from Portland to New Hampshire line was read and referred to the Committee on Rail Roads. Sent up for concurrence.
