Message of the Governor [see appendix page 17] transmitting the Report of the Agent for the preservation and repair of the Mars hill Road, was read & referred in concurrence to the Committee on State Roads

Report of Committee on the order of 21st ult in relation to Commissioners to examine Colleges & that Legislature is inexpedient - was read & accepted. Sent up for concurrence.

Leave to withdraw was reported on Petition of Elijah Wood & others - & - of William Walker & others and the reports were accepted. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - An Act to incorporate the Wells Mutual Fore Insurance Company; was read a third time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence.

Bill - An Act concerning Corporations, was reported with amendments as on sheet marked A which were adopted, and then on motion of Mr Paris of Buckfield 300 copies ordered to be printed for the use of the members.

Kimball & others of Rumford - - " William Lindsey & others of Harrison - - " Thomas Seal & others of Otisfield - - " Moses H Treadwell & others of Waterford - that the prayer of the petition of Moses Mason Jur & an other may be granted - was read & referred to the Committee on Rail Roads & Canals, Sent up for concurrence.
