On motion by Mr Holmes of Alfred, Ordered, That there be a joint standing Committee on the Library to consist of three on the part of the House & two on the part of the Senate - and the House appointed on its part Messrs Holmes of Winthrop Fletcher of Thomaston & Stone of Brunswick. Sent up for concurrence.
On motion by Mr Bunker of Cranberry Isle Ordered, That the Secretary of State be requested to cause five hundred copies of the Returns of Fish Inspectors in this State to be printed for the use of the Legislature. Sent up for concurrence.
Bill - An Act to incorporate the Proprietors of the Goose River Mill Company, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.
Bill - An Act to incorporate the Castine Steam Mill Company was read a third time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.
Leave to withdraw was reported on Petition of Solomon Littlefield and accepted in the Senate - The House referred the subject to Messrs Shaw of Sandford, Davis of Mt Vernon, Gordon of Belfast, Holmes of Alfred and Chadbourne of Standish with such as the Senate may join.
