Bill - An Act to incorporate the China Steam Mill Company, was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

Bill - An Act to incorporate the Waldo Fire & Marine Insurance Company, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence.

Bill - An Act to incorporate the South Paris Manufacturing Company was read 1st & 2d time and tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading

Bill - An Act to incorporate the Bluehill Fishing Company, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed as amended. Sent up for concurrence

On motion by Mr Watts of St George Ordered, That the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of making all toll Bridge in this State free from toll to all officers soldiers & munitions on the days of training & review, Sent up for concurrence.

Communications were received from Hugh L Anderson Clerk of the Courts, in Waldo County. Jere Bradbury Clerk of the Court, in York County - on the subject of Capital convictions, & in their respective Counties, & referred in concurrence with the Senate to the Committee on the subject of capital punishments.

Petition of Andrew Masters & others of Hallowell to be incorporated as an Insurance Company was read & referred to the Committee on Banks and Banking. Sent up for concurrence

Petition of Amos Davis & others for a Rail Road from Bangor to Augusta, was read
