Met according to adjournment.

Report, ordering Notice on the petition of Thomas Clark & others, was read & accepted. Sent up for concurrence.

Leave to withdraw, was reported on the petition of John Parker, and the report ordered to be laid upon the table.

Bill - An Act relative to the collection of State Taxes, and assessments made by County Commissioners, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed as amended. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - An Act in relation to petitions for acts of incorporation for Canals or Rail Roads reported by the Committee on the subject, was; read once and 500 copies there of ordered to be printed for the use of the members.

Governors Message [see appendix page 15.] transmitting the Preamble & Resolutions adopted by the General assembly of North Carolina on the subject of Incendiary Publications was read & referred in concurrence with the Senate to the Committee on the South Carolina Resolutions - and 500 copies thereof ordered to be printed for the use of the members.

Bill - An Act enlarging the powers of Constables in the town of East Machias, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.
