Met according to adjournment.

Report of the Commissioners relating to the State Prison, communicated by the Governor [ see his message appendix page 15.] came from the Senate that body ordering 1000 copies to be printed for the use of the Legislature and the House concurred.

Bill - An Act giving power to the County Commissioners, of York County to lay out a Road over Saco River, was read 1st & 2d time and Saturday next at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

Leave to withdraw, was ordered in concurrence with the Senate on the petitions of William Thomes for a grant of land - & - Nathaniel Stanley for same.

Report on the order of the 12th inst. relative to Revolutionary Officers & Soldiers, that legislation is inexpedient, was read and accepted in concurrence with the Senate

Notice was Ordered in concurrence with the Senate on the petition of Sewall Lake & others.

Bill - An Act to incorporate the town of Madrid was read 1st & 2d time & Monday next at ten oclock assigned for a 3d reading

Bill - An Act to incorporate the Proprietors of Mount Desert Bridge, was read 1st & 2d time and Monday next at 10 oclock assigned for a third Reading.
