74. changing the Resolve passed March 17 1835 in favor of certain officers & soldiers of the Revolutionary War that each officer & soldier that enlisted for the term of three years or during the War and were honorably discharged & the widows of the same, be entitled to the benefits of that act.

Bill An act to incorporate Bethel Academy was read a second time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading

Petition of Edmund Pilsbury & others referred in this House on the 16th inst, to be a joint select Committee, came from the Senate nonconcurred, & referred to the Committee on Agriculture & the House concurred.

An order came from the Senate instructing the Committee on the Judiciary to inquire into the expediency of passing a law, whereby all acts of incorporation hereafter passed shall expire in

years unless said Corporation shall invest and expend - part of the capital stock of said Corporation - and the House concurred.

An order came from the Senate instructing the committee on the Judiciary to inquire into the expediency of providing by law that Executions issued on Judgments rendered by Justices of the Peace shall run throughout the State - and the House concurred.

An order from the Senate appointing Messrs Greene, Mantor & Staples with such as the House may a Committee to contract with some suitable persons to do the State printing for the current political year, and the House concurred & joined Messrs Paris of Buckfield, Buxton of North Yarmouth, Bachelder of Litchfield, Marden of Palermo & Hubbard of Wiscasset.
